Who I work with

I work with people who feel stuck, burnt out, or overwhelmed, often without a clear sense of why.
This can show up in relationships, work, or a general sense of feeling disconnected from yourself.

We focus on understanding the patterns behind this—how they’ve developed, and how they continue to shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.
From there, the work is about creating meaningful, lasting change so you can move forward with more clarity and choice.

How I work

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach, adapting therapy to your individual needs and goals.
I work collaboratively, creating a space where you can think openly, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what’s happening for you.

At the same time, therapy is active. We focus on identifying the patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour, and how these continue to influence your current experience.

I balance warmth with honesty, supporting you to explore difficult areas while also helping you create meaningful, lasting change.
The aim is to help you develop greater clarity, restore a sense of choice, and move forward with more confidence.

Individual Sessions:

Before sessions begin we will have an introductory call over the phone. This lasts 15 minutes and involves getting more information about the support you are looking for, discussing a vailability for sessions, and giving you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Sessions are 60 minutes long. They occur in person or online via zoom.

Each session costs £60. Payment is asked for before the session via bank transfer.

Longer 90 minute sessions are available upon request and clinical judgment.

I work from an acute and maintenance framework.

  • For acute work I would want to work weekly and would hope to alleviate symptoms of distress within 6-24 sessions

  • Maintenance work is then useful to review progress and encourage personal growth.

I aim to review work with clients every 4-6 sessions

FAQ’s

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Many people come because they feel stuck, burnt out, or unsure how to move forward. If something isn’t working in your life, therapy can help you understand why and begin to change it.

What can I expect from sessions?

Sessions are a space to think openly about what’s going on for you. We work collaboratively to understand patterns, make sense of your experiences, and begin to create meaningful change. Therapy is active—we focus not just on insight, but on what helps you move forward.

How long does therapy last?

This varies depending on your needs. Some people come for a shorter period focused on a specific issue, while others work longer-term to explore deeper patterns. We can review this together as we go.

How often are sessions?

Sessions are usually weekly, as this provides consistency and helps maintain momentum. In some cases, we may agree a different frequency depending on your situation.

Do I need to know what I want to talk about?

No. It’s common to come to therapy without a clear starting point. Part of the process is making sense of what’s going on and identifying what feels important.

Will therapy be difficult?

At times, yes. Therapy isn’t always comfortable, particularly when we begin to explore patterns or experiences that have been difficult to face. However, this is often where meaningful change happens, and you will be supported throughout.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes, everything you share is confidential. The only exceptions are if there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, in which case I have a professional responsibility to act. We can talk through this in more detail if needed.

What issues do you work with?

I work with a range of difficulties, including burnout, stress, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck. Much of the work focuses on understanding the patterns that sit underneath these experiences and supporting change.

What is your approach to therapy?

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach, tailored to your individual needs. This means we focus on understanding your patterns and experiences, while also working towards practical, lasting change.

What if you’re not the right therapist for me?

Finding the right fit matters. If it doesn’t feel like the right match, that’s completely okay, and we can discuss other options. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and able to engage in the work.
