How I work

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe, supportive conversation. My role isn’t to ‘fix’ you, but to walk alongside you as we explore what’s happening and find ways forward together.

My work is trauma-informed and rooted in a person-centred approach, which means I focus on your unique experience and what feels most helpful for you. Depending on your needs, I may draw on tools from attachment theory, CBT, or mindfulness.

In sessions, we’ll talk about whatever feels most important to you. Some people come with a clear focus, while others just know they’re struggling and want space to untangle their thoughts. Together, we’ll explore patterns, feelings, and coping strategies in a way that feels manageable.

Confidentiality and trust are at the heart of my work. You set the pace, and I will always respect your boundaries. Therapy isn’t about me giving you answers, but about us working together to discover what feels right for you.

Most people find weekly 60-minute sessions helpful, though we can review this as we go. I offer both in-person and online sessions, so you can choose what feels most comfortable.

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. My aim is to make the process as welcoming and straightforward as possible. If you’d like to see whether we’d be a good fit, you’re welcome to reach out for an initial call.
